Thursday already?

Wow, time flies. K is stronger than ever. The University paper just did a story on her. We did 20 miles on the bikes yesterday, and are planning the same for tomorrow. Her blood work looks fine, but we haven't heard back about the chest CT. Tonya is coming to visit again this weekend. It's memorial day weekend, so we going to be seriously busy, but that's a good thing.

Hey Kristi,

Now you're like famous and stuff- since you were in the Utah Chronicle! :) The story was nice. I hope you have a great time with Tonya this weekend. I miss you.

I'm still enjoying europe, but I'm wishing I had girlfriends like you, Miriah & Liz to hang out with all the time! :)

hey kristi! i picked up a copy of the article! it was a good one...and a couple of nice pics too. i would have been worried about food in the teeth or something, but you are looking good! glad to hear that you are getting out on the bike and all! good luck and keep smiling, given any sort of luck we might move out of this lab soon and be in the new building. think of all the fun that you can miss if you are careful and avoid this joint!

hello there! what an inspiring story. i am a fellow U student with a rare disease (about 300 in the US are diagnoised) called Cystinosis. (http://cystinosis.org) I just wanted to leave a note of thanks! It is not easy going through school being sick all the time.

You don't know me, but I ran across your story in the U of U paper. My husband also has a rare disease, a cousin to Leukemia-- Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma... Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma to be exact... reading about your introduction to the world of cancer flashed me back to ours... Andrew (my husband) had to have a bone marrow transplant last April. And against all odds he is completely in remission-- to the shock of all the doctors up at Huntsman. Good luck on your search for a donor... don't be afraid to search out alternative means of information for what to expect... we learned the most from fellow patients and family members than we did from the doctors. Best of luck to you!
