Well, I just talked to my BMT coordinator and it looks like things have actually settled into specific dates, crazy! So I am planned to be admitted for my bone marrow transplant on July 31st. Then, my donor cells will be hand-delivered to my pole (octopus as Joe calls it) on August 9th. So before then, I have to 1)get my white blood count up and get the heck outta huntsman
2)try to figure out my transplant wardrobe 3)go to dozens of doctor's appointments 4)knock off all my other to-do lists and 5) have lots and lots of fun, which will include a visit from Gordon and Kim and Xavier's wedding! Well, I'm off to grow some white blood cells.

Hi Kristi--I've been reading your blog and this this bizarre escapade you've been on. The whole thing makes me grimace a lot, but we are all sending very warm, snuggly vibes your way. Sucks that you are back in the hospital, but kudos on the SCHEDULE for your transplant. We're keeping up with your progress (and pigeon poop crisis)--you have states of people watching over you :)

Turtle!! Sorry I havent popped in to say Hi! Baby #5 is almost here and she has been nothing but trouble! You look WONDERFUL I love the hair. I wish I could come visit but thats out of the question for a while! Hospitals stink! (literally) We are all praying for you and wishing you the best!! I have to go chase a Guinea Pig, a duck and the 2 children that have set them free in the house! (Just send the Damn Pigeons here they would fit right in!) Love, Jen
Hey K,
I miss you still and I think the rain photograph is really beautiful. I hope things are settling down and you are beginning to have hope that you will be getting out of Hunstman soon so you can have some fun before the transplant. :) I hope you enjoy time with Gordon. :) Oscar and I just got back from a tour of Germany. It was beautiful and the conference I went to was even fun. :)
Keep smiling and I'm glad to hear that things are starting to "not be painful". I couldn't really imagine being pricked so many times! You are truly brave and I'm glad you are staying positive.
I hope you have fun picking out some of your wardrobe! I'd shop with you more if I was in SLC!!! That was fun.
Love,
Bet
A little late on my post here since you're scheduled for the day after tomorrow, but better late than never, right?
I've been keeping you in my thoughts out here in VA and hope that the karma can find its way to SLC. You've been a trooper through it all and only a little bit more to go before you get to come out and play. At which time we'll all want to pick you for our telly-teams. ;-)
Off to read the next post. hehe
