She's Home!

That's right. She got home yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. I would say she's doing terrific. We did the Silver Lake walk at Brighton/Solitude today, no problem. She's eating real food and sleeping in her own bed for the first time in a month. She was officially released on Day +21. This is an incredible recovery rate and says a lot about how tough she really is.

That is fantastic!!! It seems that the training regimen really helped with toughness. I will call you 'leatherneck'; it's the toughest name I can think of.

So great! I don't know if I could call you 'leatherneck' tho, but your bone marrow transplant could be considered as your Power Move. Therefore you get a Hard Charger Name (a la Ze Frank) in the League of Awesomeness....

Congratulations KP!! We're very glad to hear you're hanging strong and coming out ahead of schedule. Does this mark the end of major treatment operations? May you never have to stay in the hospital again... unless you've really grown to love it there and you're experiencing symptoms of HWSS - Hospital Withdrawl Sadness Syndrome.

quite simply... amazing. only 21 days and you're home *and* touring the canyons. i never doubted that you would be back to your ol' self, but to get there in 21 days is testimony to your strength and fight.

now, i'm just waiting for the post that says you're opening a "cold one" at the top of Alta.
