We sent the phlebotomist packing today. The central line allows both input and output. Now the assigned nurse can handle the extraction easly on her own. No more jabs in the arm. Kristi still can't stand the sight of blood, note the enthusiastic look on her face. Now the process is completely painless and quick. The flushing of the lines involves a shot of saline, which she can literally taste when they do it.
