Round 2, Day 5

Here goes the next round. Another Koolaid injection and another bag on the octopus. The Ara-C is the bag seen here. The only indication that this is something special is the green stamp warning us that it's chemotherapy. We are watching Tide Land by Terry Gilliam, very surreal. Kristi is barely aware of the latest push and switch over. She's maybe half awake. If she didn't have to pee every 15 minutes, she'd probably be napping right now. There is a nice Alice in Wonderland scene in the movie. The chemo treatments are a little like tea with the Mad Hatter. I don't think the movie is her favorite, I really should have rented Super Troopers.

Kristi is very excited, she can wiggle her toes now. She was so puffy this morning, but she looks much better now. Well on her way back to super model status. I looked it up, and 16 pounds of water is the volume of two gallons. Each gallon of water is approximately 3.7 liters. She's averaging about 500ml of output every half hour. At this rate she could loose the nearly 8 liters in about 8 hours. However, her drips add 200ml every hour, plus one liter of ice water every eight hours. At what time will the trains run into each other? (5pts)
